Cookie Policy

This site is operated by Front Desk Helpers CO, doing business as FDH WEAR ("we," "us"). We sell in the United States only.

Most cookie policies list every category of cookie that exists and say a company "may" use them. This one lists what is actually running.

What we actually run

The Meta pixel. It loads on every page of fdhwear.com. It tells Meta that a browser visited our site and which pages it opened, so we can see whether anything we post on Instagram reaches anyone. It sets identifiers Meta can connect to a Facebook or Instagram account.

Wix. Our checkout runs on Wix, at checkout.fdhwear.com. Wix sets the cookies needed to hold a cart, complete an order, and prevent fraud. Checkout does not work without them.

Our own page counter. We keep a random number in your browser so that if you come back, we don't count you twice. It records which of our pages were opened and nothing else — no name, no email, no link to an order. It stays in your browser and goes to no one but us.

That is the entire list. We don't run Google Analytics. We don't run an advertising network of our own. No email or CRM tool is tracking you here.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't trade it for money or anything else of value.

Why there's no banner

We don't show a cookie consent banner. For the two things above, US law doesn't require one — and a banner you have to dismiss before you can look at anything is one more thing asking something of you.

The controls below work whether or not we ask you first.

How to stop it

Your browser. Every major browser can block third-party cookies, or clear them. That stops the pixel from following you between sites.

Meta's own settings. If you have a Facebook or Instagram account, Meta's account settings include controls for activity that other businesses send them about you. Those controls are Meta's, not ours, and they apply across every site that uses a pixel — not only this one.

Ask us. Write to support@fdhwear.com and tell us what you want removed. We'll answer.

If this changes

If we add anything that tracks you, it gets added to the list above before it goes live, and the date at the top changes. If we ever run something we can't describe in a sentence, that's a sign we shouldn't be running it.
