Every piece carries its own label, and the label is the authority. What follows is the same instruction, gathered in one place.
Where we suggest something gentler than the label allows, it is a suggestion — not a requirement. Cotton forgives a machine. It lasts longer without one.

What we would do
Wash less often than you think you need to. Cold water, inside out, with like colours. Air dry when you have the time — a dryer is faster, but the fabric keeps its hand longer without one.
None of this is required. The label already tells you what is.
