Privacy Policy

This site is operated by Front Desk Helpers CO, doing business as FDH WEAR ("FDH WEAR," "we," "us"), based in New Jersey. We sell and ship within the United States only.

Most privacy policies list every category of data a company could conceivably hold. This one lists what we actually have.

What we collect

What you type at checkout. Name, email, shipping address, and a phone number if you choose to give one — the phone field is optional.

Your order record. What you bought, when, and where it shipped. This lives in Wix, which runs our checkout.

An email address, if you ask for one. There's an unchecked box at checkout. Ticking it is the only way you end up on our list, and one click in any email takes you off it.

The Meta pixel — and what our server sends Meta. The pixel loads on every page and tells Meta that a browser visited our site and which pages it opened. Separately, when an order is placed, our server tells Meta that a purchase happened, with the order value and a hashed (scrambled, one-way) version of the email used at checkout, so Meta can tell whether an ad led to a sale. Meta calls this the Conversions API. Details, and how to stop the pixel, are on the cookie page.

Which pages get opened. We count visits ourselves, using a random number your browser keeps so a returning visitor isn't counted twice. It isn't your name, and it isn't tied to your order.

What we never see

Your card. Payment runs through PayPal and Wix. Card numbers go to them, not to us. We see that an order was paid — not what paid for it.

What we don't have

No accounts, no passwords, no profiles. Nothing on this site lets you upload anything. We don't have advertising partners, and we don't sell or trade your information — not for money, not for anything else.

How we use it

To send you what you ordered, to answer you when you write, and — only if you asked — to send an occasional email. And to see which pages people actually open, so we know what to make more of. That's the whole list.

We also keep order records as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Who else touches it

Wix — checkout, order records, order email.
PayPal — payment.
USPS — your shipping address, because a parcel needs one.
Meta — the pixel, as described above.

Each of these has its own privacy policy, and each holds only what its job requires.

Your choices

Write to support@fdhwear.com and ask us to show you what we hold, to correct it, or to delete it. We'll answer. If deleting something would break a tax record we're required to keep, we'll say so plainly rather than quietly keeping it.

To stop marketing email: the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to us.

To stop the pixel: browser settings or Meta's own controls — the cookie page explains both.

Data deletion

To have your data deleted, email support@fdhwear.com with the subject line "Delete my data" from the address you used at checkout, or tell us the order number. That's the whole procedure — there's no account to log into and no form to find.

What we delete: your name, email, shipping address and phone number from our records and from the email list, if you were on it.

What we keep, and for how long: the record that an order was placed and paid — date, items, amount, and the state it shipped to — for as long as US federal and New Jersey tax and accounting rules require, which is up to seven years. That record is kept for the audit, not for marketing, and it isn't used to contact you.

How long it takes: we confirm by email within 30 days, and we tell you exactly what was deleted and what was kept.

If you reached us through Facebook or Instagram: the same email works. Anything Meta itself holds about your account is Meta's to delete, through Meta's own settings — we can't reach it.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. We don't act on it, because we don't follow you across other people's sites — the only pages we count are our own.

Young people

This site isn't meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Other sites

Links to other sites are theirs, not ours, including their privacy practices.

Changes

If we start collecting something new, it gets added to the list above before it goes live, and the date at the top changes. If we ever collect something we can't describe in a sentence, that's a sign we shouldn't be collecting it.
