slow morning routine

A slow morning is not an earlier one. Most routines sold as slow are just longer: more steps, done sooner, with a timer running underneath.

The part that actually makes a morning slow is how many decisions it asks of you before you are ready to make any. Coffee is one. Weather is two. What to put on is usually three, and it is the only one you can remove entirely the night before.

That is the whole method: fewer decisions between waking and the first thing you actually wanted to do.

A tee at 270 GSM — 8.0 ounces per square yard, 100% cotton — is heavy enough to feel like clothing rather than sleepwear, which matters if the morning ends with you leaving the house. One garment that works for both halves of the morning removes the decision instead of scheduling it.

270 GSM is 8.0 ounces per square yard. 100% cotton, nothing blended in to make it cheaper or stretchier.

A standard tee is 150 to 180 — light enough that it reads as underwear when worn alone.

At 270 it reads as a garment. That is the difference between changing before you leave and leaving as you are.
